pennsic XXXVIII, August 2009

Before we start, please Bookmark this page. The photo pages do not have links back here. Also, you might want to set an alarm if you need to get something done. These pictures can be mesmerizing! Thanks.

I fought this year, so there aren't any pictures of the major battles. I hope that I got a good one of you. Look for your heraldry! Since many of you haven't gotten a good picture and I don't know how badly you want that slightly blurry one, I did not delete any pictures.

  • Royalty are rarely repetitive unless out-of-focus.
  • Good bashing and then shaking hands is not repetitive.
  • One-on-one combat is rarely repetitive and never boring
  • Good focus and the ability to see the eyes is not repetitive.

Midnight Madness
We went to Midnight Madness. I wanted to try and capture the bustle of town and the lights of the evening. Some of the pictures are very blurry but it was the feeling that I wanted. Hope you enjoy wandering around with us.

To and From The Woods Battle
As the fighters and fencers made their way to or from the woods battle, you passed our camp where the Ladies of the Third Division were plying you with water, pickles, oranges, bacon and other delicacies. The money for the Fighter Food Table was raised over the course of the previous year and we all give hearty thanks for their efforts. Vivant!
